Walks: The present owner of Kilkerran Estate, Sir Charles Fergusson, wishes to extend an invitation to Ladyburn House's guests to walk and enjoy the estate and its policies and perhaps discover the last of a group of Silver Firs planted by Lord Kilkerran in 1707 to mark the Treaty of Union between Scotland and England. Golf: Ladyburn House is set within the heart of the Ayrshire golf country. Turnberry Golf Resort is 14 miles away, and Royal Troon Golf Club is 22 miles away. There is an extensive range of golf courses for all abilities and groups all within a half hour drive. Turnberry's magnificent International Standard and Competition Courses are just a short drive away. The International Standard Course at Brunston Castle is only 3 miles away at Dailly, and the excellent courses at Troon and Prestwick are less than 45 minutes by car. Beach: Maidens is a beautiful sandy bay with views over the sea to the Isle of Aaron. We offer a generous check-in time of 2 PM and check-out time at NOON to maximise your stay at Ladyburn House. You will have exclusive-use private access to the main house and the gardens, including the spa building. Upon arrival, the house will be open, and you’ll have time to settle in, explore, and familiarise yourself with the property. We will then meet with you for a brief welcome orientation at a pre-agreed time.
